Thailand | Aesthetic

For one week I ran around Thailand and my eyes were flooded with color, changing landscapes, and lots of people. Buddhist temples were bursting with intricate design, I watched as people engaged in tasks I would never observe in normal daily life, and found beauty tucked in little corners. I brought my camera to Thailand and set out not to capture as many pictures as possible, but to spend my time really seeing. Instead of thousands of photos to sift through, I was left with what I believe to be an encapsulation of my experience of Thailand. The pictures are the story of my week. In the midst of absolute sensory overload, this process caused me to pause and embrace sabai sabai, the Thai mentality of being relaxed and not rushing, taking every day as it will be, believing everything will be just fine.

Here are some of my favorite pictures.
